My Little Light ("we," "our," or "the app") is a faith-based prayer and digital wellness app. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address, display name, date of birth, and religious denomination. Date of birth is used solely to determine eligibility for our free youth tier (under 22).
User-Generated Content: Prayer intentions, journal entries, and messages you send within accountability groups. This content is created by you and stored securely.
Usage Data: We record prayer gate interactions (whether you prayed, reflected, or skipped), focus session durations, and streak information. This data powers your personal statistics and candle mood — it is never shared externally for advertising.
Subscription Data: If you subscribe to My Little Light Pro, payment information is processed by RevenueCat and Stripe (for web) or Apple (for iOS in-app purchases). We do not store your credit card number.
When you use the Prayer Gate, your prayer intentions and denomination may be sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate a personalized prayer. This data is used solely for prayer generation and is not used to train AI models. Anthropic retains API logs for up to 30 days for service reliability purposes.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
If you join an accountability group (Prayer Circle), the following information is visible to other group members: your display name, denomination, prayer streak, total prayer count, and candle mood status. Your prayer intentions, journal entries, and specific prayer content are never shared with group members unless you explicitly send them as a message.
All data is stored in a secure database with Row-Level Security (RLS), ensuring users can only access their own data. API keys and secrets are stored in encrypted server-side environments and are never exposed to the client. All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption.
Your account data and content are retained as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data will be removed from our systems. Payment records may be retained by Stripe and RevenueCat as required by financial regulations.
My Little Light offers a free tier for users under 22. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 13, please do not create an account. If we learn that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.
My Little Light does not use any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking. We do not collect device advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites.
